• Preparing and negotiating intellectual property agreements, supply contracts (including all-requirements contracts) and other agreements for major airplane parts manufacturers and suppliers on contractual and other matters
• Representing aerospace companies in connection with their acquisitions of other companies or their assets
• Representing clients in numerous warranty or other contract disputes, including litigating "battle of the forms" contract terms for a designer and manufacturer of commercial aircraft interiors and component products
• Representing aerospace companies in bankruptcy matters relating to failed airlines
• Assisting clients in addressing human resources and employment concerns, including protection of trade secrets and proprietary data and preparing and managing employee stock-option and other incentive programs
• Obtaining a substantial recovery for the purchaser of 727-100 aircraft against a seller for extensive corrosion and unauthorized modifications, including damage for repair costs and loss of use of aircraft
• Obtaining dismissal of a class action claiming age discrimination by a major airline and litigating various other commercial matters for it
• Representing a major aerospace company in employment litigation
• Winning dismissal of a national class action against a major airline challenging fees

Transportation

• Defending a major airline against class claims of age discrimination in hiring pilots, including statistical adverse impact claims
• Successfully defending a national transportation company in a disability discrimination case, obtaining voluntary dismissal by plaintiff following plaintiff’s deposition
• Representing a major national rail carrier on numerous real estate, contract, and bankruptcy matters
• Representing a major Puget Sound area taxicab company on numerous matters
• Representing Airborne Express in all corporate and litigation matters from its inception to its sale to DHL

Air Transport Regulation

• Representing one of the nation’s major airlines in air quality permitting and regulatory defense proceedings
• Assisting in pipeline safety regulation compliance by fuel consortium of airlines
• Negotiating on behalf of carrier settlements of environmental remediation claims among airports, carriers, fixed-base operations and other tenants
