Courtney Seim
Principal
Courtney joined Riddell Williams P.S. in 2004 as a member of the Litigation and Environmental and Natural Resources practice groups. Courtney represents and counsels clients in a wide array of civil and commercial litigation. She devotes a significant portion of her practice to environmental litigation, including enforcement and remediation actions under CERCLA and MTCA. Courtney's practice also focuses on real estate litigation involving title disputes, boundary, easement, access, adverse possession and prescriptive easement claims.
Courtney was a summer associate at Riddell Williams in 2003. During law school, Courtney was Managing Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and co-chair of the Environmental Law Society. She also worked as a legal intern at the Animal Protection Institute in Sacramento, California.
Education and Admissions
Courtney received her B.A. in Political Science, with a Minor in Japanese, in 1999 from the University of Washington, and her J.D. from University of California, Davis, School of Law in 2004. She is admitted to practice in Washington.

Professional and Community Activities
Courtney regularly provides pro bono legal services to a wide variety of organizations. She has handled matters for Washington Environmental Council, Volunteer Advocates for Immigrant Justice, Alpine Lakes Protection Society, William Booth Center, and Concerned Friends of Ferry County. Courtney is also a member of Seattle Rotary #4.
