Josh focuses his practice on business transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and franchising and licensing. Josh assists clients with large, complex transactions from a variety of industries, with a special interest in technology companies. Josh also assists clients with franchising compliance and other IP licensing needs.

While in law school, Josh taught as a Graduate Teaching Fellow for the 1L research and writing course, and was a Teaching Assistant for the Advanced Legal Research class. Josh was also a Managing Editor of the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal and worked in the UW Environmental Law Clinic.

Education and Admissions

Josh received his J.D. from the University of Washington in 2006. He received his B.A. from the University of California at Davis in 1999, where he studied music, played in the marching band, and drove double-decker buses. He is admitted to practice in Washington.
