Bruce T. Goto
Principal
Bruce helps clients solve business issues. He has worked both domestically and internationally, and has extensive experience -- especially with information technology (IT), intellectual property (IP), and distribution/supply issues (both “brick and mortar” and Internet commerce). Through his experiences as both an in-house and private law firm attorney, Bruce has developed an acute appreciation for the characteristics necessary to be an effective and efficient outside counsel. Education and Admissions
Bruce was a Regents Scholar at the University of California at Davis, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Economics. He received his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and the IRLJ (now called the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law). Bruce also studied at the Keio University Center for Japanese Language Studies in Tokyo, and is conversant in Japanese. He is admitted to practice in California, Hawaii and Washington.
Publications and Presentations
Bruce has spoken and written extensively on business legal issues, including speaking engagements at the American Bar Association Annual Meeting, the Western Pension & Benefits Conference Annual Meeting, and the University of Washington. He has also been a contributing author to materials published by the King County Bar Association.
