Community and Pro Bono
Our firm's enduring tradition of pro bono representation, nonprofit service and civic leadership reflects our commitment to enriching our community. Many serve on the boards of organizations dedicated to the arts, culture, civil liberties, education, the environment, social services, health care and youth.
Riddell Williams is actively involved in assisting low-income clients with consumer disputes, immigration issues and child welfare matters through work with the William Booth Center, Volunteer Advocates for Immigrant Justice, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) and other state and local organizations. We have appeared in pro bono cases before local hearing officers, Supreme Court Justices and all Washington courts.
The Nonprofit practice group at Riddell Williams provides assistance to charitable organizations with planning, programming, governance, employment, facilities, tax, and program-related project finance, and assists individuals in developing tax-advantaged charitable giving plans.
